on a personal note,I loved cell today though. Loooong time since there was a full attendance and there was this reunion kind of feeling. Maybe there's gna be a breakthrough after all. |

| genting escapade! |
[Dec. 30th, 2009|04:50 am] |

genting post! really belated but kind of inspired to do it,and promised dearest one anyway. was exploring Picasa and i have to admit, the collages are fabulous. 1) saves me time in uploading photos one by one and adjusting the size.God knows how long that'll take. 2) oh so pretty effects. 3) as you can see,in this post alone, there are 20 photos.only a photo collage can pull off this feat.
P.S. most of the photos (ok 19 of them ) have me inside, reason being not that im narcissistic, but just plain lazy so koped the photos from my profile in facebook which are all tagged.LOL.
During our 3D2N stint in Genting, first and upmost,we went to Ripley's Believe it or not. Kind of interesting,we got fooled by a mirror that told us to try rolling our tongues because apparently only a few people can do so. So,in the midst of doing so,we heard loud laughters coming from the other side of the mirror, and we were thinking, wah whats so funny on the other side. And after the long walk through the exhibits,we realised at the end that the people on the other side of the mirror can actually see us when we cant see them. AKA they were laughing at the silly fools rolling their tongues and snapping pictures.AKA US.LOL. besides the amusingly embarrassing incident, there were also chairs of all kinds, the torture chair, humongous chair, luckiest chair etc. -some auntie that asked us to walk with her cause she dont dare to walk the whole route by herself. -some amazing bridge that made us feel like we're toppling over -some scary exhibits which i doubt i will ever want to see again
And of course,we went to the haunted house for some cheap thrill. ok maybe not cheap thrill cause i was pretty much freaked out once I stepped in. Got frightened a couple of times, there was this guy on the swing with all his makeup on trying to act like a melancholic (goodness knows what he is) to alleviate my fear and try to make all of this feel like a breeze through the park,so I commented," so handsome ah!" and that guy looked up and said" ya,i know." and all of us laughed.fear factor dropped a little. after that a couple of burst throughs from doors( they recycle the scaring ppl so we keep seeing the same guys over and over again) k la overall it was fun,but i dont think i can handle haunted houses the next time.
and the second day was the trip to the theme park,of course. Corkscrew(exhilarating),Solero shot(haha wtf and jasper's halfway scream, cause a drop from that height was simply too long to complete a scream),viking(standing up increased the shiokness),teacup( omg gave me major motion sickness after that),some swing thing.
our main staple for the genting trip.KAYA BALLS. dearest had this mad fetish for kaya balls, which of course led to the return of the WALCJ yl: Giant's kaya ball is the best.I want to go Giant now( forgot how she said it la hor) me: build beanstalk lor.
if you get it.cause it's pretty much low class.if you dont, congrats, your IQ must be way above mine.
oh yea and we watched princess and the frog in Genting. and we got premium seats at a price of RM13.premium leh.ayeseh dont play play(but it's still like normal singapore GV seats anw) makes me wonder what the non premium seats are. disney movies always make me go gaga over the graphics.I was so amazed, really.the colours are astounding, the music is briliiant( ok maybe too many songs.I wouldnt mind if the songs are as nice as Beauty and the beast's),the plot is quite good. But the graphics are reallyy SO SO SO SO PRETTYYYY.makes my heart want to melt and cry.
oh and on a personal note, thanks to yl,jasper and sh for taking care of me when I was feeling super pukish(motion sickness )and really wanted to just crawl into bed and sleep off the pounding headache.really appreciate it ! and of cus thanks for eating the sour plums that i bought to prevent me from puking on the bus also.no la just kidding.HAHA didnt know sour plums can be such a good on-the-bus- snack.quite addictive.
love y'all.
